Jeffery Hanna is a public health professional dedicated to advancing community health through innovation, collaboration, and evidence-based public health practice. Originally from Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Jeffery moved to Phoenix, Arizona following 9/11 when his father was deployed to Iraq with the U.S. Army. This experience helped shape his lifelong values of resilience, service, and commitment to community.
In 2015, Jeffery supported the launch of the University of Arizona’s first primary prevention mobile health unit for the Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health in Phoenix, Arizona. He later co-founded Street Medicine Phoenix, an initiative focused on delivering preventive health services and compassionate outreach to individuals experiencing homelessness in Downtown Phoenix.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jeffery helped lead large-scale vaccination initiatives that contributed to more than 80,000 vaccine doses administered across Arizona and along the Southern U.S.-Mexico border.
In addition to his work in community-based public health, Jeffery serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Arizona Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, where he has taught courses including Telemedicine/Telehealth and Program Evaluation in Global Health.
Fluent in English, Arabic, and medical Spanish, Jeffery is committed to building meaningful connections with diverse communities and advancing public health solutions that are compassionate, practical, and measurable.

Dr. Justin Zeien is a physician and public health leader dedicated to integrating clinical expertise with community-centered health solutions.
In 2011, while an undergraduate at Arizona State University, he led a student-driven initiative that resulted in the adoption of a tobacco-free policy across all ASU campuses. He later earned his Master of Public Health from the University of Arizona and co-founded Street Medicine Phoenix, an initiative focused on delivering healthcare directly to individuals experiencing homelessness in Phoenix, Arizona.
In 2021, Dr. Zeien earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arizona College of Medicine–Phoenix. He subsequently completed his residency in anesthesiology at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and currently practices as a board-certified anesthesiologist in Virginia. He also serves as an Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
Today, Dr. Zeien remains committed to advancing public health through clinical care, education, research, and collaborative partnerships.

Dr. Robert Fauer is a seasoned family physician with more than 40 years of clinical experience, including decades of service in Scottsdale, Arizona. His career has been defined by a deep commitment to patient care and a growing focus on addressing the needs of underserved populations.
In 2011, during the Occupy Movement, Dr. Fauer expanded his efforts to care for individuals experiencing homelessness in Phoenix. He began by conducting direct outreach, driving through streets and alleyways to provide essential supplies, support, and connection to care. Recognizing the opportunity to make a more sustained clinical impact, he transitioned his work toward delivering hands-on medical care within this community.
In 2021, Dr. Fauer joined Street Medicine Phoenix, a student-led initiative affiliated with the University of Arizona, where he served as team physician. He supported a rapidly growing interdisciplinary network of students from institutions including the University of Arizona, Creighton University, Mayo Clinic, and Midwestern University, spanning medical, optometry, and veterinary programs. His leadership played a key role in strengthening the organization’s clinical capacity, partnerships, and community reach.
Now retired from private practice, Dr. Fauer serves as Medical Director of Street Medicine Phoenix and is an active member of the global Street Medicine Institute, a network of programs operating across six continents. His work continues to impact both individuals experiencing homelessness and the next generation of healthcare professionals he mentors.
Dr. Fauer also serves as a consultant for Zeihan ProHealth, providing expertise in primary and preventive care. In this role, he supports strategic planning and community health initiatives that advance equitable access to care.
