Jeffery has elevated Mercy & Truth’s impact by expanding preventive services through mobile health operations and building strong regional partnerships. His leadership led to a collaboration with Johnson County Public Health Department, launching our first mobile health clinic serving communities across Kansas and Missouri. This initiative has since grown into a partnership with Johnson and Wyandotte County Public Health Departments and Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE), expanding access to care and improving community health outcomes.

Jeffery’s work at Phoenix Allies for Community Health Clinic came at a critical time as the community faced rising heat-related illnesses. He led the development of a successful grant proposal approved by HeatReadyPHX and the City of Phoenix, focused on a comprehensive health needs assessment using targeted surveys. His data-driven approach, supported by program evaluation and reporting, has strengthened the clinic’s ability to understand patient needs and respond with effective, evidence-based strategies to better protect and serve our patients.

Jeffery demonstrated exceptional leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic, working alongside the Tolleson Fire and Police Departments and Maricopa County Public Health Department to reach vulnerable residents across the city. He led a team delivering COVID-19 vaccinations and providing Naloxone and overdose-prevention education in high-need neighborhoods. His ability to bring partners together and lead with compassion made a meaningful impact when it mattered most.

SPW had long sought a solution to collect community outreach data without relying on paper forms. Jeffery identified, designed, and helped implement an affordable, HIPAA-compliant app tailored to our needs. By incorporating staff feedback and reducing administrative burden, he enabled our team to focus on higher-quality interactions while meeting grant requirements. His expertise and commitment have been invaluable.

Collaborating with Jeffery and Justin through Street Medicine Phoenix has been transformative for Spectrum Medical. Together, we have expanded beyond traditional screenings to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals experiencing homelessness, including HIV and Hepatitis C testing, as well as direct linkage to comprehensive wraparound services. Their unwavering commitment has created a meaningful pathway for community impact and underscores the power of strong partnerships in addressing critical public health needs.
