University of Arizona’s Mobile Health Unit
Project Overview
Zeihan ProHealth partnered with the University of Arizona’s Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health and the U.S.-Mexico Border Health Commission to support the design, implementation, and launch of the first Primary Prevention Mobile Health Units operating in Phoenix and Tucson. The initiative expanded access to free health screenings, culturally responsive education, and care coordination across urban and rural communities throughout Maricopa County, serving as a critical safety net for underserved and uninsured populations while strengthening linkages to federally qualified health centers and advancing prevention-focused, community-based care.
